Architectural delight ( interiors and architectural photography Poole and Bournemouth)
Working with architects photographing their projects is one of my favourite occupations. I love looking at and photographing Architectural photography. This residential house in Bournemouth was completed by architects ECA Architecture and Planning. The back of the house is mostly clad, while the front features half clad combined with classic elegant white render. Inside a large open living space opens to a large kitchen area with island and a large corner seating area. A fantastic moulded ceiling feature runs the length of the dining area.Throughout the house clever lighting illuminates corridors and rooms.I photographed the house during the day and then returned at night to capture the house in darkness with light spilling out from the rooms to the garden.

Hamworthy House (Architectural photography Poole and Bournemouth)
This fantastic house was built on the site of an old bungalow. The owners retained the original footprint and built up using a timber frame structure for the second floor, allowing them to have a wide open living space and double bi-folding doors onto a balcony. Light floods in through the skylights and the resulting space is fantastically bright and airy. I love photographing architectural projects like this, its really rewarding to work with a really nicely designed space and to capture the shapes and features of the build.
Architect's project -Timber Frame Extension
Hampshire Interior and Architectural photography - When BBD Architects were asked to add an extension to this farmhouse they took into account the wishes of the client which was to add a large bright new open space, but to maintain the feel of the original build. This beautiful timber frame extension magically adds so more space, but also keeps the feel of the existing rustic house.
This shoot combines interior photography and architectural photography. The owner did a great job of adding furnishings that complement the interior space, so it was important to show these too. I photographed this using a combination of natural light and fill light to showcase the interior at its best. For the exterior I photographed in the daylight and I also waited until dusk, to showcase the lighting outside and inside the building.
The clients BBD Architects https://www.bbd-architects.co.uk/ were looking for good Hampshire interior and architectural photography and were delighted with the results, as it truely shows their work at its best and their superb attention to details.

Architectural Photography - House Bournemouth
Another great house, designed by architects Evans & Traves. I was commissioned by them to photograph this for their portfolio. Situated in Bournemouth this large house, planned over three floors is stunning. Bright and airy, light floods in from the top of the house to the ground floor and in through the big glass doors that make the fourth wall at the back of the house. A wooden staircase with glass balustrades runs creates a striking centrepiece within the house.
This was a joy to photograph, all bright spaces and wonderful architectural features. Using mostly natural light the spaces speak for themselves.
The top floor boasts a balcony and a view over Poole harbour. The big glass doors at the back open up completely to allow the outside into the living/kitchen areas.
