ECA Architecture & Planning were commissioned to build a new sports pavilion for the local community in Fernheath, Bournemouth. ECA Architecture & Planning are a successful architecture firm based in Poole, and I have photographed many of their beautiful and innovative projects, residential and commercial.

For the exterior they used burnt larch, a smart and durable material that results in a striking finish for the long low building.

I was commissioned to photograph the new building interior and exterior and to show how it sits within its surroundings of the playing fields.

This location required two visits, once to photograph the front, east-facing, side when the sun was shining on it and second, to photograph the back west-facing side to capture the sun shining on that.
