Project Overview
ECA Architecture & Planning were commissioned to build a new sports pavilion for the local community in Fernheath, Bournemouth. They used burnt larch for the exterior, a smart and durable material that results in a striking finish for the long low building.
They commissioned Sasfi to photograph the new building and how it sits within its surroundings of the playing fields.
This location required two visits, once to photograph the front, East-facing, side when the sun was shining on it and second, to photograph the back West-facing side to capture the sun shining on that.
The resulting photographs showcase the building at its best and the architects were delighted with the result.
